The church body is invited to join Debbie Kierstead as she hosts a time of prayer in the sanctuary on Wednesday nights from 8:00 to 9:00 pm and anyone is welcome to come for any portion of that time. The focus is prayer, but worship, ministry and sharing of scripture, will take place as the Lord leads.
3. Senior’s Afternoon Board Games: Wednesdays
Research shows that seniors who spend time playing games with friends and family unlock a number of serious benefits to their mental and physical health. Please join Ralph & Shirley Graves for a fun-filled time with Board Games on Wednesdays from 1:30 to 3:00 pm in the Family Room.
4. New Bible Study: The Ministry of the Holy Spirit
Led by the prompting of the Holy Spirit, Manuel and Don are excited to invite you to join us for a powerful new study based on The Handbook on Holy Spirit Baptism by Don Basham.
When: Friday evenings from 7:00–9:00 pm
Where: The 2nd Floor Boardroom in the Gym Building
Please note: We may cancel the May 16th session due to the Victoria Day long weekend.
We’re looking forward to learning and growing together—come expecting a time of encouragement, insight, and Holy Spirit-led discussion!
5. Muffin Ministry
On behalf of our brothers and sisters who make a weekly evening trek around the city to visit those sleeping rough, and the members of your Social Action Team, thank you ‘muffin makers’ for your faithfulness serving in this way.
Our Street Ministry team need muffins as soon as May 18 for our Sunday night outreach program. Moving forward, we require 3 dozen muffins each week. If you are able to help in this way, please place 12 muffins, individually wrapped, in a large zipper locked bag, and label the bag “Street Ministry”. Don’t forget to include your name and the delivery date for which you signed up. You can place the labeled muffins in the upright freezer in the main kitchen.
Please click the link below or call the church office (506-458-8348) and our admin team will be pleased to do the online registration for you. Jesus spoke of offering cups of cold water in his name. Muffins, we believe, offer the same opportunity to bless others for Him.

In the Sanctuary, the worship team will be led by Gloria Tranquilla and David Steeves with special music from the Sanctuary Choir. In the Gym, the worship team will be led by Julianne Moore.
This Sunday, we will be celebrating the Lord’s table. Pastor Ross will be in the gym. Pastor Ross will be sharing the second sermon in his series on the book of Jonah.
Dr. Keith will be in the sanctuary. Of his sermon titled “A Post-Holy Week Challenge”, he says, “As we have just celebrated, Holy Week is surely the high point of the Christian calendar. It started, we recall, on “Palm Sunday” with kids running through the aisles waving branches and shouting without fear of any parental intervention. Indeed, the scenes in Jerusalem in Matthew 21 resemble a modern sports arena or a political rally, with the cheering crowd and adoring masses. But there is a darker side to Palm Sunday: within a week, Jesus—who was just aggressively celebrated as he entered Jerusalem—is arrested and crucified. The selfie-snapping crowds, it seems, are nowhere to be found. Notably, not long after the Palm Sunday events, Jesus shares a few poignant parables to give a sense of the larger story and our response. On this Sunday morning in aftermath of Holy Week, we will explore one of these parables, and note the message and the challenge are powerful for all of us who seek to follow the risen Lord Jesus through every season of life.”
Whether in-person or online, be sure to join us this Sunday morning at 10:30 am.
