Pastor Ross will be in the sanctuary. Pastor Ross will be sharing the third sermon in his series on the book of Jonah.
Dr. Keith will be in the gym. Of his sermon titled “Post Easter Quiz”, he says, “Seven days after Easter Sunday, there is hardly a better time to consider the reality of the resurrection of Jesus and its impact on our lives. While the Easter resurrection is a game-changing event, without precedent in human history, there are some hints in the Hebrew Bible that death is not the end. This morning, we will review one such hint, along with paying close attention to an episode that is recorded in Matthew, Mark and Luke, one that involves some leaders of the Sadducees. Notably, this group of elites do not believe in physical resurrection from the dead, and they try to trap Jesus with their words. But the response of Jesus is astonishing and provides us with some powerful grounds for confidence in the Easter message that can transform our entire worldview and make an incalculable difference as we live as disciples of the risen Lord Jesus.”
This Sunday we have our youth-led Greenhouse Youth Worship Service on the third floor! All those who are grade 6 to 12 are welcome to join for this time of worship together. Come along for fellowship, food, and learning more about how Jesus intimately works in our lives!
Whether in-person or online, be sure to join us this Sunday morning at 10:30 am.
