An Easter Saturday Celebration with East Coast Brass
Saturday, April 8, 3 p.m.
There are New Testament passages that speak of a trumpet. And they are offered in the context of the resurrection of believers when Christ returns. But Jesus’ resurrection was heralded by an earthquake, so it seems appropriate that a ‘blast of brass’ would help lift our spirits from the darkness of the previous days of Holy Week.
On Easter Saturday, our special guests will be East Coast Brass who have been with us before and whose concerts have delighted listeners. Their concerts span a range of emotions, but on this particular Saturday afternoon, the emphasis will be on the celebration. These talented musicians welcome you to join them in our sanctuary on the eve of resurrection Sunday.
The offering from the evening, after expenses, will be in support of our church family’s work with Fredericton’s unhoused citizens.
Please note that due to copyright issues, this concert will only be offered in person.
