I have to admit that scheduling recording sessions and the dates for their release is a bit of a challenge for me. Hi Fellow BSBC'ers, Last month one of our Pastoral Staff, (the one with the least amount of hair), said that because of my age he was now going to call me "3/4 McLellan". Hello from my apartment! This week is likely to be a significant one in the ongoing development of returning to “normal.” With previous weeks having brought expanded bubbles to some of us and to others a renewed sense of the need for safety and to stay isolated. It seems to me that there are challenges and joys that come with every step of our societal journey towards “normal.”

It’s a different holy week journey, isn’t it? Not the pattern we have come to know and love. Yet, I wonder if the isolation and unsettledness, brought to us by COVID-19, might allow us to identify more fully with the disciples in their Thursday night, Friday and Saturday distress.

Hello to everyone — As I write from my desk here at the church before taking some time off, I am grateful for you, my church family. I’m glad we have found ways to remain connected as much as possible and I pray you are all handling the isolation well.
